Closets are meant to keep our clothes clean but more especially keep them smelling fresh. It is annoying if you have to get clothes out of your closet and wash them before wearing just because they have a musty smell. This mustiness is caused by too much humidity in your closet. A closet dehumidifier will do the trick. A closet dehumidifier has to be a small unit; something that you can keep in there and will not take up too much space. I would recommend going with a unit that will work even when you don’t use your closet for a while—say a week or two. For this reason use a desiccant unit that can last long before you may need to replace the desiccant. You can also go with a battery unit—just make sure the battery lasts long and remember to empty the small condensate tank. A desiccant dehumidifier will not require emptying the tank hence more convenient.
