My garage is in serious humidity crisis. I need a unit ASAP…the problem is there is so many to choose from. Plus, the units I have used before have not worked well. Can you recommend something?
Garages are always notorious with high levels of humidity. They are also known to be very cool places which means temperatures could be as low as 15oC. Apart from the humidity leaving the area with a musty smell as well as create dampness in there, there are higher chances of your belongings getting rust. What you require in such a situation is a dehumidifier for garage that will work perfectly for you. You’ll need to go for a unit that can function in low temperatures. Most of the time desiccant dehumidifiers are recommended. This is because they don’t require close monitoring to empty the condensate. They can also work in very low temperatures compared to compressor dehumidifiers.
