I have come across the question of whether you can find a dehumidifier with a heater several times. Most answers given are not at all exhaustive. I have to say that as much as dehumidifiers dry the air in your space, they do so by consuming energy in form of electricity (especially the electric units). During the process there is also a lot of energy that is released back into the space in form of heat–you must have noticed somewhere behind your unit where the motors are located and fans that there is some heat emitted. This heat can be quite useful especially during winter when the air is really cold and humid. However, let’s forget about the science of enthalpy and energy emitted in form of heat. Yes, there are dehumidifiers that are fitted with heaters. In my little walk around Walmart in the dehumidifier section, I bumped across a dehumidifier with heater. It was known as Hisense and had a 1200W heater built in the unit. I’m sure there are many other units like these in your local store.
